How big are the boards you used?ReplyDelete
2 feet x 2 feet and about 3/4" thick ...but you can use any size. The bigger the more interesting the piece. Try CDX plywood at a hardwood store. It is cheap and can be cut in any size. It is smooth on one side and has a pretty wood finish to it that makes it look more expensive because the spray paint allows the wood finish to show through. It is also quite easy to nail into.ReplyDelete
I am in the process of making one! I am super excited for the final product!!!ReplyDelete
Ok maybe this is a silly question but are you using coloured string or spraying that too?ReplyDelete
What type of string do you use? I am going to make one and don't know if I should use yarn or string.ReplyDelete
Love it!! I made something similar for my blog http://www.mypondokkie.com/2013/02/when-i-drive-by-banner-saying-church.htmlReplyDelete
